Current lead time for an order placed today will be about 2 weeks as we start to clear the sheer volume of orders that have been placed for mid/late April delivery. Most vareties still have capacity for later in the month and where this is not the case they have been removed from sale. I have also added to the shop a small amount of stock from our reserve varieties list.
Due to the poor weather conditions over the last couple of days and further forecasted inclement weather next week we may have to delay initial shipping by a week. Ive spent part of the weekend digging out the entrances to our propagation hoses as these where 3ft deep in snow and yesterday took the snow plough through the main nersery yard to give us access to all the greenhouses. Snow levels on some of the greenhouses where up to 2ft thick on saturday morning with a further foot over much of the yard.
For those expecting to collect orders at the Crooklands on Saturday, these orders will be shipped out as normal early april orders.
We are now propagating new dahlia stock as quickly as possible to supply orders. We expect to start sending orders out in 2 weeks weather permitting to those who have asked for early deliveries.
As of today 27th October our outside display beds of dahlias are looking a bit black. Overnight frost has finished off the blooms for this season.
Most varieties are now fully in flower I would guess at about 95% flowering. The medium cactus vatieties are very poor with only one or two flowering.
Our Dahlia display field is now at aproximately 60% flowering and 95% in bud we would expect full flowering to start in about 14 days. The field is to the side of the nursery with parking alongside and access for wheelchairs down the wide grassed paths between the beds. Opening times are daily from 9 till 5 7 days a week until 1st November.
We have updated the list for 2013 and are now taking orders for next season, could customers please advise us of when during the season they would like delivery of their plants thanks.

During the next week it is expected that Eurodahlia may be offline for up to 36 hours whilst the website is moved to a new server. This will enable us to provide better functionality within the website during the comming months in preparation tor our 2013 season. Sorry for any inconvienience this may incur.
