Delayed Flowering

Due to the exceptionally hot conditions in June and July our outdoor display beds are running a few weeks late in flowering we expect decent quantities of flowers outside from September. The status of the indoor crops is unaffected and they continue to provide the wow factor at the Nursery.

Orders containing Kenora Sunset.

Due to the very high demand for the variety Kenora Sunset in the period between end of April and early June we will be holding back a number of orders containing the variety Kenora Sunset to enable our production of cutting stock to catch up with very high demand. The demand has been caused by the featuring of kenora sunset on BBC’s Gardeners World. Please bear with us whilst we allow production to catch up. Sion.

Some catalogues now sent and should arrive in a day or two

New customers from last season should receive their catalogues in a day or so, Existing customers from last season will receive theirs next weekend and customers from prior to last season will receive their catalogues hopefully next week. The problems have been caused by the general indifference of staff at city-link post. We will hopefully be using a new carrier next week once we receive all our catalogues back from city-link in the next couple of days. watch this space.

Site updated for 2014 season

Welcome to the updated Eurodahlia. We have added a large number of varieties to the site for the new season, many of which are only available in limited quantities for next year. Unfortunately we have had to increase our price per plant for 2014 however, our internet prices will be lower than those in our catalogue.

We expect our new catalogue to be available in the Autumn once the shows are behind us and we have more time to sort things out.

Main Flowering in the Dahlia Field at the nursery is expected from mid August until Mid October. Currently there are approximately 260 varieties in the field and this is open daily during daylight hours. Parking is adjacent to the field and wide grassed paths make access easy for viewing.
